Davie County Town Councils

While Davie County Commissioners are responsible for county-wide governance and decision-making, three town councils in Davie County manage local affairs within their specific towns. There are town councils in Mocksville, Cooleemee, and Bermuda Run. Each level of government addresses different needs and issues relevant to their respective jurisdictions (including data center development).

Please continue to join us at the following meetings to share your comments on data center development across our county.

Data Center Advisory Council

Davie Against Data represents a concerned group of Davie County residents interested in providing our community with facts, maps, studies, and updates about data center developments in Davie County.

Our discussions have included the development of a Data Center Advisory Council comprised of local farmers, property owners, engineers, business leaders, utility representatives, environmental professionals, emergency management, and citizens from across the county.

We recognize that citizens are not planners, nor should they replace planners. But they can inform planners with local knowledge, community values, and practical experience. Our goal is to create an ongoing dialogue with local elected officials throughout the moratorium period.

If you are interested in serving on the Data Center Advisory Council, please email us at davieagainstdata@gmail.com.
